| Il concerto in si bemolle maggiore RV 529 per due violini soli, archi e basso continuo fu composto a Venezia intorno al 1724 da Antonio Vivaldi. Non si conosce la data precisa della composizione, sappiamo solo che intorno al 1720 Vivaldi, allora direttore artistico del Pio Ospedale Della Pietà di Venezia, presentò una serie di concerti per 2 violini da provare con l’orchestra femminile “Le Putte ” del Pio Ospedale, e probabilmente questo bellissimo concerto è stato inserito insieme agli altri. Il problema di decifrare la data esatta delle composizioni di Vivaldi è molto difficile. Ciò è dovuto alla velocità con cui scriveva, e quindi alla quantità di spartiti che accumulava quotidianamente. Molti di questi concerti furono composti durante i viaggi in Italia che Vivaldi intraprese per eseguire le sue opere, e ogni volta che tornava a Venezia dava all’orchestra femminile una notevole quantità di spartiti da provare. La ricostruzione del Concerto in si bemolle maggiore RV 529 che presentiamo proviene da una copia del manoscritto conservato presso la Fondazione Giorgio Cini dell’Istituto Italiano Antonio Vivaldi, mentre il manoscritto originale è conservato presso la Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria di Torino. La nostra è una ricostruzione personale, ciò è dovuto alla volontà non solo di riportare il valore assoluto del manoscritto, ma anche alla volontà di incrementare l’esecuzione in stile vivaldiano anche con la realizzazione della parte per il clavicembalo sviluppata dal basso continuo. Abbiamo cercato di aggiustare le dinamiche, gli abbellimenti e di rendere fluido il discorso solistico tra i due violini. A Roma nel 2019 abbiamo terminato questo bellissimo lavoro e nello stesso anno abbiamo realizzato anche la versione per due violini soli e clavicembalo o pianoforte. Ti ricordo che tutte le opere inserite in questo sito comprendono la partitura completa e le relative parti strumentali separate, il tutto in un unico file PDF. Inoltre vi consiglio di andare a vedere gli altri concerti per due violini di Vivaldi, sono tutti davvero molto interessanti e piacevoli da suonare. | The concerto in B flat major RV 529 for two solo violins, strings and continuo was composed in Venice around 1724 by Antonio Vivaldi. The precise date of the composition is not known, we only know that around 1720 Vivaldi, at that time artistic director of the Pio Ospedale Della Pietà in Venice, presented a series of concerts for 2 violins to be rehearsed with the female orchestra “Le Putte” of Pio Ospedale, and probably this very beautiful concert was included together with the others. The problem in deciphering the exact date of Vivaldi’s compositions is very difficult. This is due to the speed with which he wrote, and therefore to the quantity of scores that he accumulated daily. Many of these concertos were composed during the trips to Italy that Vivaldi undertook to perform his operas, and each time when he returned to Venice he would give the female orchestra a substantial quantity of scores to rehearse. The reconstruction of the Concerto in B flat major RV 529 that we present comes from a copy of the manuscript kept at the Giorgio Cini Foundation of the Antonio Vivaldi Italian Institute, and the original manuscript is kept at the National University Library of Turin. Ours is a personal reconstruction, this is due to the desire not only to report the absolute value of the manuscript, but also to the desire to increase the performance in Vivaldian style also with the creation of the part for the harpsichord developed from the basso continuo. We tried to fix the dynamics, embellishments and make the solo speech between the two violins fluid. In Rome in 2019, we finished this beautiful work and in the same year we also created the version for two solo violins and harpsichord or piano.
