Il libro “Metodo di Armonia e Composizione Musicale” è il risultato di uno studio incessante e di un lavoro sviluppato negli anni, ricostruendo e trascrivendo dalle opere dei grandi compositori del passato. Il rispetto rigoroso della regola compositiva e il bisogno ardente di scoprire nuove forme musicali hanno acceso e illuminato quella parte del firmamento musicale che tanto adoravo. Un compositore deve prima di tutto conoscere le regole, la musica è una regola, una nota va inserita secondo una regola precisa, nella musica tutto è una regola se pensiamo che dal Rinascimento, passando per il Barocco, il Classico, fino al Romanticismo , grandi compositori e scuole di pensiero hanno sempre imposto alle nuove generazioni la definizione “regola” nella composizione. Oggi possiamo comprendere e interpretare bene una partitura barocca se conosciamo le regole dell’armonia e della composizione, e tutto ciò che abbiamo ereditato dai grandi maestri come Antonio Vivaldi prima e Johann Sebastian Bach poi, proseguendo con Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, ecc..: è tutto scritto in base ad una “Regola di Composizione” ben definita.
