| Over the years, with love and dedication, we have dedicated ourselves to the reconstructions and transcriptions of baroque and classical works for flute. the elegance of this instrument transported us to those specific historical moments of baroque and classical music, helping us to enter the score with respect and admiration of the great composers. During the reconstructions we had moments of discouragement due to the lack of reading of some manuscripts worn out by time. We were not discouraged, and continued respecting the harmonic procedure in those non-readable points of the manuscript, imagining the composer’s intention. In all the works we have published, especially with flute and orchestra, we have created the harpsichord part from the continuous bass, both in the numbered parts and in those where there was no numbering. However, we must point out that as regards the scores of the classical period, we based ourselves on already known and public copies, therefore well known. We basically completely rewrote the full score and inserted the instrumental parts separately, all in a single PDF file. Instead, as regards the works of the Baroque period, we have completely reconstructed the score from copies of manuscripts subsequent to the composer in question and from other copies made when the composer was still alive. the sources from where we collected the manuscripts dating back to the Baroque period are multiple. National University Library of Turin, National Library of Bologna, Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, relevant for the works of Vivaldi and Albinoni, Conservatory of Music of San Pietro a Majella in Naples, State University Library of Saxony in Dresden, Antonio Vivaldi Italian Institute of the Foundation Giorgio Cini directed by Antonio Fanna. | Nel corso degli anni, con amore e dedizione, ci siamo dedicati alle ricostruzioni e trascrizioni di opere barocche e classiche per flauto. l’eleganza di questo strumento ci ha trasportato in quegli specifici momenti storici della musica barocca e classica, aiutandoci ad entrare nella partitura con rispetto e ammirazione dei grandi compositori. Durante le ricostruzioni abbiamo avuto momenti di sconforto per la mancata lettura di alcuni manoscritti usurati dal tempo. Non ci siamo scoraggiati e abbiamo continuato a rispettare la procedura armonica in quei punti non leggibili del manoscritto, immaginando l’intenzione del compositore. In tutte le opere da noi pubblicate, soprattutto con flauto e orchestra, abbiamo realizzato la parte del clavicembalo dal basso continuo, sia nelle parti numerate che in quelle dove non c’era numerazione. Dobbiamo però precisare che per quanto riguarda le partiture del periodo classico ci siamo basati su copie già note e pubbliche, quindi molto conosciute. Praticamente abbiamo riscritto completamente la partitura completa e inserito le parti strumentali separatamente, il tutto in un unico file PDF. Per quanto riguarda invece le opere di epoca barocca, abbiamo ricostruito integralmente la partitura da copie di manoscritti successivi al compositore in questione e da altre copie effettuate quando il compositore era ancora in vita. Sono molteplici le fonti da cui abbiamo raccolto i manoscritti risalenti al periodo barocco.
