A parte alcune opere strumentali datate 1735, poco si sa della vita e delle opere di Albinoni dopo la metà del 1720. | Many of Albinoni’s compositions were always considered at the level of equally famous contemporary musicians, such as Corelli, Scarlatti and Vivaldi. His ten instrumental collections were published with great success in Italy, Amsterdam and London, enjoying considerable success in many courts and noble families of southern Europe. Il suo stile melodico, elegante e flessibile si incontrò con la poetica di Goldoni: questa collaborazione segnò la nascita e la diffusione in tutta Europa (dopo il 1749) del dramma giocoso. | Since the early 18th century, Venice had become the city of very important composers. Tomaso Albinoni, Antonio Vivaldi, Antonio Lotti, Alessandro and Benedetto Marcello, and among these Baldassare Galuppi known as Buranello because he was born on the island of Burano, 10 kilometers from Venice. Galuppi was in his time very famous for his works, both funny and serious, for his sacred works and for his keyboard music. | Grazie al suo talento, Pergolesi non dovette pagare la retta del conservatorio, poiché portò entrate all’istituto grazie ai concerti che tenne, prima come chierichetto, poi come violinista e capoparanza di uno dei gruppi orchestrali del conservatorio. (titolo che potrebbe essere associato all’attuale primo violino), nominato nel 1729. Se in vita, nonostante i numerosi riconoscimenti, la fama di Pergolesi fu quasi esclusivamente limitata all’ambiente musicale napoletano e romano, non deve stupire che questa figura di compositore , morto giovanissimo con una parabola artistica di soli cinque anni e tuttavia capace di lasciare una manciata di composizioni indimenticabili, seppe influenzare poeti e artisti che reinterpretarono la sua figura in chiave romantica nel corso dell’Ottocento. | Thanks to his talent, Pergolesi did not have to pay the tuition of the conservatory, since he brought income to the institute thanks to the concerts he gave, first as a choir boy, then as a violinist and capoparanza of one of the conservatory’s orchestral groups ( title that could be associated with the current first violin), appointed in 1729. | Domenico Scarlatti di scuola napoletana, figlio del grande Alessandro Scarlatti, divenne famoso soprattutto per le sue 555 sonate, poche delle quali pubblicate quando era ancora in vita, furono stampate in modo non sistematico nei due secoli e mezzo successivi. Scarlatti attirò però l’attenzione di importanti estimatori, tra cui Bach, Händel, Clementi, ecc. In questi brevi brani, generalmente costituiti da un unico movimento bipartito, Scarlatti si dimostrò pioniere di tecniche per tastiera nuove per il suo tempo, come come arpeggi, note battute con agilità, incroci di mani, ottave spezzate e battute, note doppie: tutte difficoltà tecniche da padroneggiare progressivamente, man mano che il compositore svela le potenzialità timbriche, melodiche e ritmiche della sua scrittura ricca e articolata. | Di Alessandro Stradella non sappiamo molto della sua vita e delle sue opere, anche se le ricerche indicano che nacque a Bologna intorno al 1643, e che di lui si ebbe notizia durante le messe in scena delle sue opere in varie città italiane, Roma, Venezia, Genova. Ha scritto almeno 7 opere, numerose cantate e oratori. Compose anche 27 brani strumentali, principalmente per archi e basso continuo, generalmente sotto forma di sonate da chiesa. Stradella fu tra i primi compositori ad utilizzare la tecnica orchestrale del concerto Grosso (contrasto tra concertino e tutti) che utilizzò sia nell’orchestrazione di arie di oratori, opere e cantate, sia in brani strumentali, come, ad esempio, in una delle sue sonate per viola. | We don’t know much about Alessandro Stradella about his life and works, although research indicates that he was born in Bologna around 1643, and that he was heard from during the staging of his works in various Italian cities, Rome, Venice, Genoa. He wrote at least 7 operas, numerous cantatas and oratorios. He also composed 27 instrumental pieces, mostly for strings and continuous bass, generally in the form of church sonatas.
